STORY OF AN ARTIST
My name is Patrice Boyes, and I am an artist based in the Gainesville, Florida area who encourages everyone to "see" natural and emotional landscapes a little differently. I hope to provide you with the best possible experience through artistic expression.

My second solo show will open with a Reception from 6 to 8 pm on November 17 at Rum 138 Gallery north of Gainesville in Fort White, Florida. The show features 30+ works devoted to the major Springs of the Santa Fe River.

My painting of Ichetucknee Springs was selected by jurors for exhibit in the City of Gainesville's show, "Cross Creek Rising: The Consciousness of Land and Water." The painting, "Ichetucknee Etude," was exhibited in the City's Historic Thomas Center Gallery.

"Luminous Portfolio: Selected Works by Patrice Boyes" was exhibited in the President's Gallery at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida. A selection of abstract paintings and interpretations of local Springs was featured.
